Equipped with a 1.5 meter Advent Newswift dish and a 200 Watt Xicom amplifier, it's powerful enough to uplink in SD on all satellites. (Eirp: 64 dBm)
HD is also possible, but on hot satellites, like most Intelsat and Atlantic Bird satellites.

A dometic aircon unit cools the equipment racks, not the drivers compartment. (vents can be opened to cool the front of the truck though)

The truck is completely re-wired and refurbished in 2011.

Fitted with 2x 2000 Watt Victron UPS for at least 10 minutes back up so you can swith to alternate power without loss of signal.

Wall power and internal Fisher Panda P5000 Generator as back up.

Also a 10 channel AC power distribution (10 amp fuse each)

The truck is now equipped with one Advent encoder for SD embedded video. (Not in this picture)
But, at extra costs, we can put in a Tandberg E5788 HD encoder.
It's also possible to make it 1+1 redundant at extra costs.

It can do DVB-S and DVB-S2 encoding and receiving.
Biss encryption and 8 channels embedded audio.

It has a very simple set up. Only SDI embedded.
SDI embedded signal from a OB truck or live camera goes directly into the encoder.

It is now equipped with a TTi handheld spectrum analyzer.
Optional 4 RU Instec spectrum analyzer possible.
